The furniture manufacturer Kettnaker celebrates the 150th anniversary of its foundation with an extraordinary piece of design furniture. As a tribute to its own history, Kettnaker has developed the limited edition MEISTERSTÜCK 150 for the anniversary. This exclusive piece of furniture is available either as a chest of drawers or sideboard. Sophisticated craftsmanship and high tech form a unique symbiosis. Tradition meets modernity here. With this exclusive furniture, Kettnaker once again demonstrates its expertise in purist aesthetics. All manufacturing steps from design to development and production are 100 percent "Made in Germany".
Exclusive furniture in three model variants and various designs
The designer furniture MEISTERSTÜCK 150 is offered in several model variants in different designs. Two sideboards and a chest of drawers are available in an edition of 150 pieces. Kettnaker developed exclusive surfaces especially for this high-quality furniture: Intarsia veneer, palladium and Fenix with 3D laser front. The outstanding techniques and materials give the design furniture its special character. What unites all designs is the production method, which demands the highest precision: the fronts, which are only 6 mm thin, are processed with CNC technology for a perfect fit. The fronts are tapered at the edges so that almost no material thickness is visible. A surrounding black shadow gap on the edge of the carcase provides for contours.
MEISTERSTÜCK 150: Modern furniture design combines craftsmanship with high-tech
"To celebrate our anniversary, we wanted to create something unique. We decided on a design furniture that bears our signature. Each MEISTERSTÜCK 150 uses highly mechanised technology. The challenge of craftsmanship that this exclusive furniture offers can only be mastered with many years of know-how. The outer skin has to be adjusted and attached by hand so that the joint patterns run as desired," explains Wolfgang Kettnaker, managing partner of the Kettnaker furniture factory. Thus, each of the modern chests of drawers and sideboards is personally manufactured by a master craftsman of the company.
