Encounter and dialog are our driving force: we rely on strong trade fairs

Finally a real trade fair again! In January 2024, the imm cologne was
the usual start of the year in Cologne for the first time again and after five
intensive trade fair days, we can draw a thoroughly positive balance. Around 42,000 visitors from 129 countries came to the international furniture fair and were able to experience our new, cooperative trade fair concept.

Together with the renowned furnishing brands Walter Knoll, Rolf Benz,
Draenert, Object Carpet and Schönbuch, we have created a platform for exchange and inspiration that has never been seen before in Cologne. The positive
response and enormous frequency between the open-plan exhibition areas was overwhelming. The need for exchange is unbroken. Digital offerings are a good addition, but do not replace the personal conversation. This became very clear in Cologne. We need
places where people can meet, and as a German premium brand, we will continue to
do so in the future.

"The imm cologne is and remains a central platform for the exchange of ideas and for business opportunities. Our participation this year was not just a mere product presentation, but a contribution to the development and relevance of trade fairs in a changing industry."
(Wolfgang Kettnaker, Managing Partner)

The feedback from the press, retailers and exhibitors on the new concept was clear. The open presentation promoted the exchange of ideas and, with the semi-transparent textiles as room dividers, contributed to a visual modernization and enhancement of the exhibition hall. Instead of huge wooden panels used to insulate the exhibition space in conventional modular stands and are disposed of after the trade fair, we rely on a conscious use of resources and at the same time create a positive effect. Community instead of isolation - we see great potential for the future of the trade fair in this.

Innovation through collaboration

In addition to our new concept, the focus was undoubtedly on the presentation of our innovations. The multimedia lowboard presented in collaboration with Leica particularly impressed the dealers, as they had been waiting for a TV solution of this kind for a long time. The lowboard, a combination of the Leica Cine 1 Cinema TV and our SOMA system, has already been ordered in large numbers for the first quarter. This stylish solution for the home cinema integrates a retractable screen that provides a projection surface when required and discreetly blends into the living room when not in use. The multimedia lowboard is available in all the finishings that are also available for SOMA. This makes it the right choice as a TV solution for each furnishing concept.

At imm cologne 2024, we also presented the international audience with a number of
extensions for our new CASE furniture system. One particular highlight was the black steel finish, a surface that was previously available for our MIO system. In response to many requests, we have decided to offer this version for CASE again. A real crowd favorite, as we saw in Cologne!

Many thanks to all participants and partners who contributed to this important trade fair. See you next year!
